Our personalised Movement Assessment will help you discover exactly how you move and then optimise your movement specifically focused towards your training goals. In the session we will work with you to define your goals then assess your movement in relation to these goals.

If you’re a runner, we will watch a video of you running. If you’re a cyclist we will watch a video of you cycling. If you’re a weightlifter we will watch you lifting!

Our approach is personal to you – there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to assessing movement, and we will give you your own personal program to build better movement.

We will help you:

  • Learn exactly where your movement inefficiencies lie
  • Test your power output by creating a movement assessment personal to you and your goals
  • Analyse the biomechanics that you use when you move (joint sequencing)
  • Assess your movement under fatigue (find the point where you get inefficient!)
  • Address any issues that we find with ROM, stability and power output
  • Create a movement program specific to you, to add into your current routine to get you moving better

Once we’ve been through your Movement Assessment session, created your assessments and discovered where your movement inefficiencies lie we will then devise a program for you to add into your training routine to help you gain new ground in your movement.

From here it’s simply a case of following the program we give you and incorporating it into your current routine, then feeding back to us with your results.

You’ll receive your homework exercises in video format via your phone so you’ll always have program to hand.

    “Prior to working with Pete, like many people, I based my training programme on a combination of “conventional wisdom” and the results of online research into sports science trends (which is a minefield of often-unqualified opinion).

    Pete is very good at focusing on specific training objectives, tailoring one-to-one sessions accordingly.     “I started seeing Pete a few weeks ago after sustaining ankle ligament damage when playing rugby. I was having difficulty walking, going up/down stairs, driving, even just moving my ankle due to pain.
